About Me:

I am currently an Associate Professor in the School of Economics and Finance at Victoria University of Wellington in Wellington, New Zealand, where I am the Director of the Actuarial Science Programme and the Accreditation Actuary for the university. I have previously held academic positions at Georgia State University and the University of Central Florida. I was a practicing actuary for a number of years with Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio. I received a Ph.D. in Physics from the Ohio State University and am a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and Fellow of the New Zealand Society of Actuaries.
