I am a post-doctoral researcher at Boston College, specializing in computational linguistics and automatic speech recognition for underrepresented languages. My academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Italian language, culture, and literature from Université Rennes 2. Building on this foundation, I pursued a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics at Université Grenoble Alpes, followed by a Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics from Charles Darwin University in Australia.

Throughout my doctoral studies, my research focus centered on the development of speech technologies tailored for indigenous languages. The practical application of these technologies became a focal point, particularly within an Aboriginal context in the Bininj country. This work aimed to address the technological disparities faced by languages with limited resources, emphasizing the importance of preserving and promoting linguistic diversity in a decolonizing framework.

Following the completion of my Ph.D., I continued to contribute significantly to the field through a post-doctoral position at Université d'Orléans and my current position at Boston College. In these roles, I maintain a specific focus on automatic speech processing for low-resource languages, with a keen interest in field linguistics data. My research underscores a commitment to overcoming the challenges faced by linguists working in diverse and underrepresented linguistic contexts.

My work resides at the crossroads of linguistics, technology, and community engagement, reflecting a dedication to advancing the understanding and application of computational linguistics in linguistically diverse settings
