Welcome! I am a PhD student in Accounting at Bentley University, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2025. My primary research interests include the intersection between audit and capital markets, audit regulation, and human capital issues in accounting. At Bentley University, I have taught Financial Statement Auditing at both the undergraduate and master's levels.
After earning my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I started my career as an auditor at PwC in Chicago. I then worked as a corporate accountant at a Fortune 500 company and in public company readiness and internal audit consulting before pursuing my PhD. I am a licensed CPA (currently inactive) in Illinois.
Outside of work, I'm an avid runner (trying to run a half marathon in all 50 states), reader, traveler, and Wisconsin sports fan. I also enjoy spending time with my research assistant/rescue mutt - Kipper.
I love to connect with new people, so feel free to reach out!
