Curriculum Redesign:

During the summer of 2018, I worked with Becci Torrey and Rose Morris-Wright under a Brandeis teaching innovation grant to revamp the Brandeis precalculus curriculum. We redesigned the course to utilize Standards-Based Grading and Team-Based Learning. These research-based teaching methods are designed to increase learning and decrease student anxiety through the use of a flipped classroom and transparent grading. I have since used various aspects of these techniques in several of my courses, including the use of both in my Spring 2024 linear algebra course.
