Teaching
At the University of Queensland, I currently teach Honours Econometrics (ECON6103). Students should access the course website through UQ's Blackboard platform.
I have previously taught Introductory Econometrics (ECON2300), Applied Econometrics for Macroeconomics and Finance (ECON3350/7350) and Advanced Macroeconometrics (ECON6380/7380/8380) to Honours/Masters/PhD students at UQ. I have also taught a variety of business statistics and marketing analytics courses at the University of Bucharest.
In additional to traditional university courses, I teach short courses in econometrics and deliver training modules to professional organizations, such as policy institutions (reserve banks, treasuries, etc.) and private firms. The focus of these courses is on practical applications of state-of-the-art methods capable of handling big data in fast-paced professional environments. An example of topics covered in previous two-day courses is available here. For more details, please contact me by email or phone.
