Born and raised on the West Island of Montreal, I have always had access to really great schools that made an impact on my life and learning, and I'm sure that plays at least a part in my decision to continue my studies in education.
I am an avid theatre lover and lifelong figure skater, and those two things have played a huge role in who I am today--someone who loves creativity, performing, and above all, having fun. As someone specializing in teaching the creative arts in the drama concentration, I hope to instill and build these qualities in all my future students. Simply put, I'd like to help help my students become the very best versions of themselves.
I have had the opportunity to enjoy working with youth in many different settings and places in the world, including a summer camp in Hungary where I did not speak a single word of the language, as well as a museum in Saskatchewan, so when I think about the future of my teaching career, it's more of a feeling than a place. I don't have a vision of where in the world I'd like to be working. But I do know that it will be a warm, welcoming, vibrant and playful place for everyone.
