趣旨 :
統計力学の基礎に関するボルツマン仮説に起源を持つエルゴード理論は
幾何学、数論、確率論、偏微分方程式論、離散数学などの数学の様々な分野と
関連しながら発展を続けている「数学の交差点」である。
本研究集会の目的は以下の３点に集約される：
（１）普段は日本各地に点在して活動するエルゴード理論・力学系関連の研究者が
一堂に会し、情報交換を行う場の提供
（２）大学院生、若手からシニア、ベテランまで、幅広い年齢層を取り込んだ学問的裾野の拡大、
および我が国のエルゴード理論・力学系研究レベルの引き上げ
（３）エルゴード理論・力学系分野の次世代を先導するトップリーダーの養成への貢献
