If you want lightweight, jewelry-style open-ear listening for fishing, choose ERDU Jewelry Open Ear; if you need helmet-mounted rider communication with rain protection, choose Bewinner BT Helmet Headset. The distinction is clear: ERDU is a personal clip-on audio option, while Bewinner is built around helmet use and two-way intercom. Neither should be mistaken for a dedicated set of noise canceling sleep headphones for fishing.
• ERDU Jewelry Open Ear’s biggest strength: an open-ear clip-on design weighing 5g per side, with up to 30 hours of total playtime. Trade-off: it offers no two-way rider intercom or stated rainproof rating.
• Bewinner BT Helmet Headset’s biggest strength: helmet-focused communication, including two-way intercom, a stated 1200m range, and IP67 rainproofing. Trade-off: it is a helmet headset, not a jewelry-style open-ear clip-on.
• Choose ERDU for personal listening in a lightweight, outside-the-ear format; choose Bewinner for helmet use and communication between riders.
ERDU is designed to sit outside the ear canal. Its clip-on bridge uses soft silicone, and each side weighs 5g. That makes its basic appeal straightforward: it keeps the ear canal clear and has a decorative ear-cuff look rather than the appearance of conventional in-ear earbuds. The set also includes two pairs of magnetic decorative accessories, so the look can be changed.
For fishing, I’d consider ERDU when the priority is listening to music or podcasts without inserting earbuds into the ear canal. Its stated battery setup is 5 hours of continuous playback per charge, with another 25 hours supplied by the charging case, for 30 hours in total. Bluetooth 6.0 and dual-device pairing are also listed, which may suit someone who wants to connect two phones.
Skip ERDU if your main need is communication with another rider, a helmet-specific setup, or a stated rainproof rating. Its jewelry styling and open-ear fit are personal-listening features, not substitutes for the intercom and weather-protection details offered by Bewinner. And despite the phrase sports earbuds for fishing, this model is a clip-on ear cuff—not a product described as having a fishing-specific or sport-specific fit.
How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
Bewinner BT Helmet Headset: Who It's For
Bewinner is the practical choice here for a helmet-based setup. Its listed features include two-way intercom for two riders, dual-device connectivity for two smartphones, and a 1200m range. It can switch between intercom and music-sharing modes, so its feature set is centered on communication as well as listening.
The headset is listed with a 1000mAh built-in battery and up to 30 hours of playback. It also has an IP67 rainproof rating and an ABS-and-silicone construction. Those are relevant details for someone choosing a helmet headset for outdoor riding, though they do not make it a jewelry-style open-ear device or establish that it is intended for every kind of outdoor activity.
For fishing, Bewinner makes sense only if the helmet communication features are genuinely useful in your situation. If you’re looking for a compact personal-listening option to wear without a helmet, ERDU’s clip-on design is the closer match. Bewinner’s listed design is helmet-oriented, and the product information identifies its ear placement as in-ear.
• Best for a lightweight clip-on, outside-the-ear fit → ERDU Jewelry Open Ear. Each side weighs 5g, and the design is specifically described as sitting outside the ear canal.
• Best for two-rider conversations → Bewinner BT Helmet Headset. Its two-way intercom is intended to connect riders, including with a different brand of BT intercom.
• Best for fishing if you want personal music or podcasts → ERDU Jewelry Open Ear. Its open-ear design and charging case’s stated contribution to 30 hours of total playtime fit that use more directly.
• Best for a stated rainproof rating → Bewinner BT Helmet Headset. It is listed as IP67 rainproof; ERDU’s supplied details do not state a rainproof rating.
• Best for changing the visual style → ERDU Jewelry Open Ear. It comes with two pairs of magnetic decorative accessories and a velvet pouch.
• Best for connecting two phones → Either, with different contexts. Both list dual-device connectivity; ERDU frames it around switching between phones, while Bewinner also lists navigation and music playback.
• Best for helmet communication across a stated distance → Bewinner BT Helmet Headset. It specifies a 1200m range; ERDU does not list an intercom range.
• Best for someone who doesn’t want an in-ear helmet headset → ERDU Jewelry Open Ear. Bewinner’s product information identifies its ear placement as in-ear, while ERDU is designed to stay outside the ear canal.
The products share a few headline ideas, including dual-device connectivity and up to 30 hours of stated playtime, but the similarities stop there. ERDU’s 30-hour total includes the charging case’s additional capacity; Bewinner lists 30-hour playback with a built-in 1000mAh battery. Those figures describe different setups, so I wouldn’t treat them as identical measures of continuous listening.
These aren’t interchangeable kinds of headphones. ERDU’s jewelry styling, open-ear placement, and charging case point toward personal listening. Bewinner’s microphones, clips, mode switching, rainproof rating, and rider intercom point toward helmet use. For someone deciding between them for fishing, the question is whether the helmet communication setup is part of the plan. If not, ERDU is the more relevant fit; if it is, Bewinner has the specific features to consider.
My Verdict
In my opinion, I’d choose ERDU Jewelry Open Ear for fishing when the goal is personal listening in a lightweight design that sits outside the ear canal. Its clip-on fit, decorative accessories, and 30-hour total playtime give it a clear use case. I’d choose Bewinner instead if helmet-based, two-way rider communication and a stated IP67 rainproof rating matter more than that open-ear style.
For personal listening while fishing, I’d lean toward ERDU because it is designed to sit outside the ear canal and is not described as a helmet headset. Bewinner is the more relevant option if you need its helmet-focused intercom features.
Does ERDU Jewelry Open Ear use bone conduction?
It sits outside the ear canal, but that does not make it a bone conduction headphone.
The listed control details for ERDU include active noise cancellation, but its design is described as an open-ear clip-on. The product details do not establish that either headset is made for sleep, so I wouldn’t choose between them as sleep headphones.
Bewinner is the only one of the two with a stated rainproof rating: IP67. ERDU’s listed details don’t specify a rainproof rating, so the information provided doesn’t support treating it as water-protected.
