Students enrolled in this advanced course will be assessed through a short critical analysis paper, which must be two pages long, formatted in A4, font Arial 11, with 1.5 line spacing, and margins top/bottom= 2.5 cm and left/right= 3 cm.
The objective of the assignment is to encourage students to reflect critically on the contents covered during the week.
Each paper must address at least three key topics discussed throughout the course, demonstrating the student’s ability to synthesize and correlate ideas, engage with the available knowledge, and critically articulate a coherent argument.
Relevance and depth of analysis: How well the student engages with the selected topics and demonstrates understanding.
Critical thinking: The ability to question assumptions, compare perspectives, and propose original insights.
Structure and clarity: Logical organization of ideas, clarity of expression, and adherence to formatting guidelines.
Use of course materials: Integration of concepts, readings, and discussions from the course.
This assignment is designed to foster independent thought and academic rigor, while allowing students to connect course content to their future research interests eventually.
Deadline for critical analysis delivery: Friday, November 7th, 23h59.
The final grades will also reflect the attendance and participation in course sessions.
