Croatian Makers liga je dio projekta Croatian Makers koji je 2014. godine pokrenuo Institut za razvoj i inovativnost mladih (IRIM).
Cilj Lige je omogućiti široko uključivanje robotike, automatike i programiranja u edukaciju u osnovnoškolskom uzrastu. Sudionici se mogu uključiti na nekoliko načina, a svima kojima IRIM omogući opremu za sudjelovanje, oprema ostaje u trajnom vlasništvu nakon godine dana sudjelovanja.
Platforma na kojoj se odvija liga je edukacijski robot micro:Maqueen Plus na bazi micro:bita. Liga se održavala na platrofmi mBota do šk. god. 2021./22. Od školske godine 2022./23. smo prešli na drugu platformu koja nudi još jednostavniji ulazak u svijet robotike, ali omogućava i naprednije korištenje.

What is the Croatian Makers League?
The Croatian Makers League is a part of the Croatian Makers project, which was initiated in 2014 by the Institute for Youth Development and Innovation (IRIM).
The goal of the League is to enable widespread inclusion of robotics, automation, and programming in elementary school education. Participants can get involved in several ways, and for everyone to whom IRIM provides equipment for participation, the equipment remains in permanent ownership after one year of participation.
The platform on which the league takes place is the educational robot micro: Maqueen Plus based on the micro:bit. The league was held on the mBot platform until the 2021/22 school year. From the 2022/23 school year, we have transitioned to another platform that offers an even easier entry into the world of robotics and enables more advanced usage.
Projekt UI u STEM edukaciji (UI=umjetna inteligencija) bavi se rješavanjem problema nedovoljnog broja educiranih učitelja i adekvatnih programa u osnovnim školama RH koji bi poticali djecu na stjecanje STEM znanja i vještina.
Projektom planiramo povećati kapacitet i pružiti podršku za učitelje osnovnih škola u RH za korištenje robotike i umjetne inteligencije, čime povećavamo kvalitetu i relevantnost odgoja i obrazovanja te cjelokupnog okruženja za učenje u osnovnim školama.
The Artificial Intelligence in STEM Education Project
(AI = artificial intelligence) focuses on addressing the problem of insufficiently educated teachers and adequate programs in elementary schools in Croatia that would encourage children to acquire STEM knowledge and skills.
Through this project, we plan to increase the capacity and provide support for elementary school teachers in Croatia to use robotics and artificial intelligence, thereby enhancing the quality and relevance of education and the overall learning environment in elementary schools.
Povezivanje hrvatskih škola s tehnološkom industrijom primarni je cilj projekta. Uvođenjem novih znanja kao što su: Umjetna Inteligencija, Internet of Things, crowdfunding, izgradnja tehnoloških tvrtki, itd., kroz projekt ŠKOLA BUDUĆNOSTI, planiramo popularizirati obrazovanje u Hrvatskoj. Svake godine, sve do 2025., uvodit ćemo najrelevantnija znanja iz industrije 4.0. u školski sustav, s ciljem pretvaranja učionica u inovacijske laboratorije.
SCHOOL OF THE FUTURE STEMI
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
Connecting Croatian schools with the technology industry is the primary goal of the project. By introducing new knowledge areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, crowdfunding, building technology companies, etc., through the SCHOOL OF THE FUTURE project, we plan to promote education in Croatia. Every year, until 2025, we will introduce the most relevant knowledge from the industry 4.0 into the school system with the aim of transforming classrooms into innovation laboratories.
On November 1, 2023, an education session was held from 12 PM to 3 PM, which was related to creating a mobile application. During the session, the participants learned how to use the MIT app Inventor. The training was attended by Tihana Đogaš and Adrijana Lisica - both computer science teachers, Anita Papić - the mathematics teacher, Mia Kantar - the classroom teacher, and professional associates Meri Rajčić, the librarian, and Fadila Zoranić, the pedagogue.

je projekt Rotary kluba Zagreb Centar u partnerstvu s Institutom za razvoj i inovativnost mladih – IRIM, uz podršku The Rotary Foundation, Rotary Distrikta 1913, 45 Rotary klubova i distrikata iz zemlje i inozemstva (SAD, Japan, Tajvana i Nizozemska), Ministarstva znanosti i obrazovanja i brojnih pokrotivelja iz svijeta gospodarstva (Popis partnera je niže na stranici).
Cilj projekta je opremanje do 300 osnovnih škola diljem Hrvatske s 15.000 mikroračunala micro:bit za poduku u razrednoj nastavi (1.-4. razred). Micro:bit je platforma za za razvijanje digitalnih i STEM kompetencija

Croatian makers liga -rezultati 2023./2024.
Prvo kolo Croatian makers lige se održavalo u periodu od 16.10. do 8.11.2023. Svi sudionici su se natjecali pojedinačno, online. U skupini stariji, Split2, pobjednik natjecanja je učenik naše škole Marin Kostrenčić. Roko Batayneh je zauzeo treće a Petar Šiklić deveto mjesto. Mentorica učenika je Tihana Đogaš.

Od 4 kola koliko je u školskoj 2022./2023. održano, u drugom kolu ostvarili smo najbolje rezultate!
Učenik Karlo Bekan Budimir zauzeo je treće mjesto a Nikola Matana 6. mjesto, tako da je škola zauzela ekipno 4.mjesto. Mentorica Tihana Đogaš
