Activity WEEK 2: France, Royan

11.4-15.4.2022

THIS PART OF THE WEBSIDE WAS MADE BY PUPILS

Royan is a seaside city in the west coast of France with many sandy beaches. It is known for sunny weather, for being turistic city with long history. Now it has become a modern city with a lot of new connections around the Europe from different schools for example Spain, Finland and Slovenia.

Day 1

On the first day in Royan we got to know eachother. First we were shown the video and material from activity week from Spain. We were introduced into the erasmus program and to eachother.

We introduced ourselves in English and we shared our thoughts on communication and interaction. We talked about how and with who we communicate in daily life.

After the first interactions we were divided into groups of six people and with the help of different questions, we discoverd the school and solved the mission of the week. We had 7 places to find and read the Qr-code.

In the afternoon we connected into the school's network and computers. Then we discoverd what we will do in the business game and how we will introduce and advertise the erasmus program inside and outside the school.

Through out the day we got to know eachother and made new friends. In the picture behind everyone is the motto of the French Republic. In English it means freedom, equality and friendship.

Day 2

Playing the business game

Promoting the Erasmus+ program via different social medias and conventional methods like the company newsletter.

We also made posters about a competion for the students of the Lycée Cordouan to join the Erasmus group on thursday on our beach trip, where we will be doing various team building exercises and discover original communication tools.

Keeping track on the achievements of different groups and editing the news letter in the digital team.

We change activities every hour so that everyone participates in each activity.

Day 3

We started our day in the marina of Royan at 7.30a.m and visited the lighthouse until 12a.m. We learned about the world heritage of UNESCO and also about the French history and the culture. We also met the warden of the lighthouse who told us any interesting stories and facts.

After the visit we had time to write on TwinSpace and talk with each other in the boat.
