JLU Virtual International Programme (VIP) - Winter Semester 2023/24
We are pleased to share with you the course catalogue on JLU’s Virtual International Programme (VIP) for winter semester 2023/24.
VIP is a permanent offer of JLU’s cooperation activities and addresses international students interested in a virtual exchange experience to complement their studies in their home countries. For participating in the programme, students do not pay any registration, enrolment or credit fees to JLU. Students can apply directly online, we do not ask for official nominations beforehand.
Students get to choose one to six seminars from a varied study catalogue taught completely online. This offer includes 45 online courses from all 11 faculties of JLU at undergraduate and graduate level. As the offer is part of the regular JLU curriculum, international students enrolled will benefit from an international learning environment.
In addition to specialized courses, VIP offers exclusive places in 5 German language courses from beginner to advanced level. Upon successful completion of the virtual exchange semester, international students will receive an official Transcript of Records with credit points from JLU. Participation in the VIP is free of charge for students from our partner universities.
Students are able to apply for the programme up to 31st July 2023. We will also have an online question time on 20th July 2023 at 2pm (CEST) where students can ask questions regarding the application process or the programme in general (see flyer attached).The winter semester starts on 9th October 2023 with our online Orientation Week for all international students (OWIS). In the summer semester 2023 we are offering a summer school taught by different lecturers, taking place between July 23-Juli 31, 2023. KU LEUVEN - Europe INSIDE OUT: A 2023 Summer School
The next edition of Europe Inside Out will take place from Monday 3 July till Friday 14 July 2023 and targets graduate (Master’s) students with an interest in Europe. Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) students in their final year of study are also welcome to apply.
During this 10-day course jointly offered by the Faculties of Economics & Business, Arts and Social Sciences students combine two majors, chosen from a list of four; Doing Business with Europe(ans); Policies and Politics in the EU; Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Europe and Social and Cultural Interactions. The course includes visits to Brussels and Antwerp.
Participants will work in multinational, multidisciplinary teams to identify, elaborate on and formulate a possible strategy to deal with the challenges in Europe. Students present a case study on the final day of the summer school. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded with a certificate of 6 ECTS.
Students from partner institutions will be able to participate at a reduced tuition fee of €500. Accommodation is not included, but can be booked individually by the students themselves. KU Leuven recommends to stay at the Irish College, which is within walking distance to the summer school venue. Twin/single rooms have been prebooked, as most hotel rooms will be fully booked due to the music festival Werchter.

Münster School of Business 2023 International Summer School
The Münster School of Business is very pleased to launch its 2023 International Summer School with "Move Creative, Carry Effective." Innovative & Sustainable Transportation in Germany" to take place from August 28th - September 8th!
Germany's transportation is going through a big change that will lead to more creative and environmentally friendly product and service development. This includes switching to electric and hybrid vehicles, making smart mobility solutions, and making public transportation more accessible. Additionally, the country's strong automotive industry is also investing in research and development of sustainable mobility solutions.
We will walk our group of summer schoolers (a mix of local and international students) through a two-week experiential Summer School, where we will visit some of the most iconic transportation manufacturing industries in Germany. We depart from Münster, make a one-night stop in Bremen, a two-night stop in Hamburg, and end our immersion with a three-night visit to Berlin during our first week. Our team of experts will provide dynamic lectures and conduct mentoring sessions while making sure the students are equipped with the necessary tools to come up with unique and creative solutions, that will solve their challenge-based assessment during our second week. We stand by the premise of delivering a harmonious program: 20 hours of immersion, 20 hours of lectures and 20 hours of independent work.

Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in IoT, Computer and Data Sciences, IA and Networking USPN Paris
Sorbonne Paris Nord University (USPN), has the pleasure to invite you to our first Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in IoT, Computer and Data Sciences, IA and Networking, which will be held from the 3rd to the 7th of July 2023.
This international week is open to MSc and PhD students who are interested in IoT systems and its applications and aims to apply theoretical knowledge and practical skills in these fields.
The program will be structured in two periods:
- Online preparatory modules in June 2023, 10 hours with three mini-courses related to these preliminary subjects: introduction to Data sciences, AI analysis tools and instruction for final project.
- In-presence week from the 3rd to the 7th of July, hosted by the Master EUR of Sorbonne Paris Nord University with in-presence courses, training IoT lab sessions and final a project activity.
ECTS credits: A certificate of attendance and 3 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits will be awarded to the participants upon the completion of the programme.
The participation of students and teachers could be supported by the new Erasmus short mobility scholarships and Erasmus Staff or Teaching Mobility founding.

Le Mans Université's International Summer Campus 2023

BIENALE ECOPOSS: RAISE THE FUTURE
Over the past 10 years, the Université Catholique de Lille has undertaken radical change to become an exemplary “third place” of reinvention for a more sustainable, more ethical future.
This transformation, carried out by the schools and partner institutions of the Université Catholique de Lille, is visible in the dynamic ECOPOSS project, which will open up to new regional, national, and international participants through a major event to be held 26-30 October 2022 on the university campus: the ECOPOSS Biennale.
Short-Term Programme Summit
We have received good and promising proposed contributions for the Short-Term Programme ‘Summit’ (6 – 7 May 2022 in Lucerne and partly hybrid) jointly organized by the Prague University of Economics and Business VSE and the Lucerne School of Business. We would, however, like to give those who have said they are still working on a proposal some more time and we are therefore extending the deadline for contribution proposals to Thursday, 6 January 2022. Please find the revised “Call for Contributions” attached.
We plan to open general registration for the ‘summit’ in mid-January 2022 with an initial registration deadline at the end of March 2022. Non-contributors are more than welcome to attend. So please save the dates of the ‘Summit’ whether you plan to contribute or not: 6-7 May 2022.
In case we need to move from on-site/hybrid to 100% online due to the pandemic, we will inform you well in advance. The event will not be cancelled! Of course, we will follow the official Corona rules of the Swiss government and of the Lucerne School of Business if it is held in-person. We hope for the best (and plan for second best …).
We wish you a peaceful end of the year and look forward to receiving further contribution proposals by 6 January 2022.

Who we are:
The Coimbra Group is an association of forty European research universities, all of which are long-standing, comprehensive and renowned universities (www.coimbra-group.eu). The Coimbra Group has its Office in Brussels, at the interface between the Coimbra Group Universities and the EU institutions. The work carried out by the Coimbra Group Office consists of both policy work (liaising with the EU institutions and other stakeholders in the field of higher education and research) and of coordination of and support to activities related to international academic cooperation between its members.
We are currently looking for a creative and organised trainee/intern to assist the work of our small international team at the Brussels Office for a period of 6 months, from January 2023 through end June 2023 (flexible dates and duration).
=====Requirements=====:
Be currently enrolled at or recently graduated from a Coimbra Group member university (listed here);
MA student or recent MA graduate, eligible to participate in the Erasmus+ internship programme of their university;
Preferably trained in Business Administration, Communication (or similar). Other profiles are encouraged to apply as well;
An experience in social media management and/or content writing for websites and social media channels and/or an interest for data analysis are all assets for the position ;
Have excellent written and spoken English (C1 level). Other EU languages an asset;
Be a confident user of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic skills with graphic tools to create visuals (such as Canva) is an asset;
Have an interest in working in an international environment and being introduced to the daily functioning of a small Brussels-based, not-for-profit association. This includes dealing with a wide variety of tasks ranging from purely technical/administrative to policy-related tasks;
Being comfortable working in a small team and using own initiative.
Description of tasks:
Assist with the management of the Coimbra Group Scholarship Programmes for young researchers from Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and the European Neighbourhood:
liaise with IT provider for the preparation of the online call for applications for 2023/2024;
prepare communication material and ensure widespread dissemination of the call;
answer queries by potential applicants and ensure the applications fulfil the eligibility criteria;
liaise with Coimbra Group participating universities and inform candidates about the status of their applications;
prepare and analyse data and draft a short report on the scholarship programme results.
Provide administrative support to the Coimbra Group Office staff in the preparation of documents and in the organisation of events, meetings and other activities as necessary;
Attend and report on meetings related to higher education & research cooperation and policies (in Brussels and online);
Assist with communication activities including writing and uploading content for the Coimbra Group website, monthly newsletters and social media platforms (Twitter mainly, but also LinkedIn, YouTube);
Produce an easy-to-use, visually appealing institutional communication package about the Coimbra Group to be distributed to our member universities;
Assist with the organisation of an online meeting with the communication departments of all Coimbra Group member universities (preparatory material, minutes, follow-up actions).

El Programa de Maestría en Relaciones Internacionales y Diplomacia Cultural y Diplomacia Cultural con Enfoque en la Salud Global es un programa de un año (programa de 3 semestres) ofrecido por la Universidad de Furtwangen en asociación con la Academia de Diplomacia Cultural.

ERASMUS MUNDUS in Impact Entrepreneurship
Estamos muy orgullosos de lanzar un nuevo Máster Erasmus Mundus en Impact Entrepreneurship (EMMIE), financiado por la Comisión Europea y acogido conjuntamente por HEC-Universidad de Lieja (Bélgica), Zagreb School of Economics and Management (Croacia) e ISM-Vilnius (Lituania).
Los másteres conjuntos Erasmus Mundus son programas de estudio integrados de alto nivel impartidos por al menos tres instituciones de enseñanza superior y destinados a fomentar la excelencia y la internacionalización entre las instituciones y en toda Europa. EMMIE es el primer Máster Conjunto Erasmus Mundus ofrecido por una escuela de negocios en Europa.
El Máster en Impact Entrepreneurship está abierto a estudiantes de todas las disciplinas que hayan completado un mínimo de 240 ECTS que estén apasionados por el desarrollo de un proyecto empresarial con impacto social centrado en el enfoque de las 3P: Personas, Planeta y Beneficios. A lo largo de 18 meses, con estancias de movilidad en cada una de las instituciones asociadas, los estudiantes desarrollarán un proyecto con impacto en uno o varios de los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de Naciones Unidas.

Edición de vídeos de difusión de actividades solidarias para varias ONG´s de Granada.
Desde el Vicerrectorado de Igualdad, Inclusión y Sostenibilidad y UGR-Solidaria, os informamos de la siguiente petición desde la Facultad de Ciencias en colaboración con las ONGs: Cáritas, Banco de Alimentos y Calor y Café.
Se precisa urgentemente una persona que tenga conocimiento experto en edición y montaje de vídeo, para colaborar en la difusión de actuaciones solidarias llevadas a cabo por dichas asociaciones.
Los vídeos ya se encuentran grabados y tan solo se precisa su edición y montaje.
Esta actividad será reconocida por el Vicerrectorado de Igualdad, Inclusión y Sostenibilidad y UGR-Solidaria con un certificado de colaboración.
