Liceo Scientifico Pasteur is a public secondary school situated in Rome, with 1100 students aged 14 - 18, 47 classrooms, Art, IT and Science Labs, a small Mineralogy Museum, a Library and an Astronomy Observatory.

The curriculum takes 5 years of Italian language and literature, Latin, Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Art, History, Philosophy, English, PE. Some students are foreign so various activities are organized to enhance the integration of students in a multicultural perspective.

This project would provide the opportunity to enhance different cultural heritages. The school's strenghts are Italian and Latin literatures, creative writing, history and drama workshops. Liceo Pasteur is expert in learning disabilities. It is experienced in international projects such as Gemun and Nhsmun. It also took part in the Erasmus+ KA2 READ in Europe project with Hungary and Croatia.

Regular projects are organised as part of the curriculum: a cultural exchange programmes, courses on music, languages, ecology, first aid, and courses to get the ECDL. The school uses European Certifications such as Diplomas of English to help students’ preparation for life-long learning, with a combination of Europass documents which will be used during this project.

Specific English classes are set up to improve oral skills by native teachers. An ethnic dance workshop is offered to students, teachers and parents. Traditional qualified Drama workshop, stage performances in English and theatre and History workshops are held.

This project will provide a great opportunity for sharing their expertise in some fields and also gain knowledge and develop in areas still in need of improvement.
