This model uses multiple layers to simulate the differences between the layers based on their composite lithologies within the Equus Beds. Above are the two cross sections of the model layers and a map view of the study area (Kelly et al., 2013)Â
Simulated groundwater elevation (Kelly et al. 2013)
Simulated Hydraulic Conductivity (Kelly et al., 2013)
Difference in head between simulated and recorded values, for calibration (Kelly et al., 2015)
Portion of map used for model creation (Kelly et al., 2013)
Portion of map used for Hydraulic conductivity modeling (Kelly et al., 2013)
Output model at 10ft intervals. it seems as though our model is very similar to the calibration model in the report, in that it is predicting higher groundwater elevation toward the center of the aquifer than it has been measured at.
