Where the App requests access to the device camera or photo library, access is used only to allow the user to select, capture or manage content for features they choose to use.
Photos and documents saved within the App are intended to be stored in the App's local storage unless the user chooses to export, back up or share them.
EquiWorm and PawDose primarily store user-entered animal information locally on the user's device.
This means animal profiles, treatment records and other saved information remain within the App's storage unless the user chooses to export, back up, restore or otherwise share that information.
We do not operate an external database for the purpose of remotely storing users' animal treatment or health records unless this policy is updated to reflect the introduction of such a service in the future.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of information that is important to them.
EquiWorm and PawDose may provide features that allow users to back up, export, restore or transfer their information.
Where these features are available, a backup may include information such as:
Animal profiles
Treatment records
Vaccination records
Medical or health information
Reminder information
Notes
Photos

Other information stored within the App
When a user creates or exports a backup, they may choose to save or share that backup using services available on their device, such as Apple Files, iCloud Drive or another compatible storage or sharing service.
The destination selected by the user is outside our direct control. Information stored with a third-party cloud storage or sharing provider is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy practices.
Users should keep backup files secure because they may contain information and photos entered into the Apps.
Information stored by the Apps may also be included in device backups depending on the user's device settings and Apple's operating system and backup configuration.
Users are responsible for managing their Apple ID, iCloud and device backup settings.
We cannot guarantee the availability or restoration of data through Apple's device backup services.
Where an App provides its own backup and restore feature, users are encouraged to use it when moving to a new device or when maintaining important animal records.
EquiWorm and PawDose may allow users to create reminders or receive notifications relating to treatments, vaccinations or other animal care activities.
Notification permissions are controlled through the user's device settings.
Users can choose whether to allow notifications and can change notification permissions through their device settings at any time.
EquiWorm and PawDose may offer optional paid features through Apple in-app purchases or auto-renewable subscriptions.
Subscription purchases, billing, renewals and cancellations are processed through Apple's App Store and the user's Apple Account.
We do not directly collect or store users' full payment card details.
Subscription management and cancellation can be handled through the user's Apple Account subscription settings.
Apple's handling of information associated with App Store purchases is governed by Apple's own privacy practices.
We do not sell user-entered animal information or personal data for advertising purposes.
We do not share user-entered horse, pet, treatment, vaccination or health records with third parties for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.
Information may leave the App when a user deliberately chooses to:
Export a backup
Save information to another location
Share a file
Share a photo or document
Use a device-level sharing feature
Store a backup using a third-party service
In these circumstances, the user chooses the destination and service used.
EquiWorm and PawDose do not use user-entered animal records for advertising or cross-app tracking.
The Apps are not intended to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes.
If analytics, diagnostic or crash-reporting services are introduced in the future that involve the collection of data, this Privacy Policy and the relevant App Store privacy disclosures will be updated as required.
We take reasonable steps within the Apps to protect locally stored information.
Because much of the information entered into EquiWorm and PawDose is stored on the user's device, users should also take appropriate steps to secure their device.
This may include using:
A device passcode
Face ID
Touch ID
Secure Apple Account settings
Appropriate device backups
Users should also protect exported backup files because those files may contain animal information, photos and other records entered into the Apps.
No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and users should maintain appropriate copies of records that are particularly important.
Users can manage information stored within the Apps using the available edit and delete features.
Deleting an animal record or other information from an App may permanently remove that information from the App's active local storage.
Deleting an App from a device may result in locally stored information being removed.
Information may continue to exist in backups previously created by the user, device backups or files the user has separately exported.
Users are encouraged to create an appropriate backup before deleting the App or moving to a new device.
EquiWorm and PawDose are not specifically designed or directed toward children under the age of 13.
The Apps are intended primarily for people responsible for managing the care, health and treatment records of animals.
We do not knowingly use the Apps to collect personal information from children for advertising or tracking purposes.
EquiWorm and PawDose are provided as animal record-keeping, organisation and reminder tools.
They do not provide veterinary diagnosis and are not intended to replace advice, examination, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified veterinarian.
Users should follow the directions supplied with worming and veterinary products and seek professional veterinary advice regarding parasite management, worming programs, vaccination programs, faecal egg count collection, FEC results, FECRT results and other health matters specific to their horses.
Users should follow the directions supplied with veterinary medicines, parasite treatments and vaccination products and seek professional veterinary advice regarding appropriate products, treatment intervals, dosages, vaccinations, medical conditions and other health matters specific to their pets.
Information displayed within either App should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional veterinary advice.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Apps, their features or applicable privacy requirements change.
The latest version of this Privacy Policy will display the date on which it was most recently updated.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
