ALS  - Silent Communicator

This innovative device integrates a fully functional software system written in Python, designed to empower patients in advanced stages of ALS. 

Leveraging advanced eye-tracking technology, the system enables users to navigate and select options from a fully customizable pre-programmed menu using only eye movements, removing the need for any physical contact. Choices made by the patient are displayed on LED modules, allowing caregivers to view and respond accordingly. Additionally, the device can be programmed to interface with home automation systems, such as turning on the fan or TV, or calling for assistance, providing patients with greater independence in managing their care, expressing their needs, and interacting with assistive technologies.

This intuitive design solution represents a significant step toward inclusive, tech-driven healthcare for individuals with severe motor impairments.
