Nick Armendarez (Strategist)

Armendarez is a senior at The University of Kentucky studying Biosystems & Agricultural Engineering with and minor in Biomedical Engineering. He has taken classes on 3D dynamic motion and has experience working with 3D movement systems.

Nick Baumann (Influencer)

Baumann is a senior at The University of Kentucky studying Biosystems & Agricultural Engineering with a focus and minor in Biomedical Engineering. His work at the Human Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Lab and Sports Medicine Reserach Institute has helped bring knowledge to implement the hardware and software of accelerometers for this project.

Adler Elliott-Rosenberger (Team Builder)

Elliott-Rosenberger is a senior at the University of Kentucky majoring in Biosystems & Agricultural Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. He has spent three semesters working in the Human Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Lab in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, studying the biomechanics of the lower back.

Taylor France (Executer)

France is a senior at The University of Kentucky studying Biosystems & Agricultural Engineering and minoring in Biomedical Engineering. His experience with programming and circuitry allows him to create the electrical designs necessary for this project.

Jennifer Janes, PhD, DVM

Janes, is an Assistant Professor of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Kentucky. She has been crucial in collecting and preparing horse cadaver limbs required for testing.

Mick Peterson, PhD (Faculty Advisor)

Peterson, joined The University of Kentucky in 2017 as a Professor of Biosystems Engineering and as the Director of Ag Equine Programs. With >30 years experience between industry and academia, Peterson brings an unparalleled amount of knowledge. His more recent works focus in equine welfare, making him perfect for this project.
