Team Members

Eli is specializing in Machine Systems Automation and plans to work in the agriculture industry designing and working with heavy equipment. His internship experiences have involved working with the creation of personal protective equipment (PPE,) sampling grain to ensure storage quality, reconstituting chemical mixtures for spraying applications, sustainable motor vehicle development, and using CAD to develop agricultural equipment parts. 

Alexis's interests lie in the biomedical and biological areas. Currently, she works as an undergraduate research assistant here at the University of Kentucky. Her position entails acting as an aid when using HALO software to break down different parts of the brain to locate B cell diapedesis. The research entails determining whether traveling B cells are beneficial or harmful to mice after experiencing traumatic brain injuries. 

Audrey is following the bioenvironmental specialization and plans to work in the stream restoration and environmental preservation field. Previously, she's worked as an animal husbandry assistant for UK's Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Research Center. Through her internship and co-op experiences, she has used AutoCAD and Civil 3D for structure design. Audrey grew up on a farm raising and riding quarter horses.
