Jordan Gastion, a trailblazing creative with over 7 years of teaching and choreographic experience. Gastion has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and an eye for the "arts", and she started a photography and film production business called FS Productions in elementary school. By 2021, she graduated from the Conservatory of Dance and Fine Arts in Decatur, Georgia. Currently, Gastion is a Junior dance major at Alabama State University. Gastion has taught hip-hop, ballet, and jazz, and has choreographed and cast dancers for live productions, films, and music videos. Gastion has performed for Yolanda Adams, Pastor Mike Jr, Shelia E, Tony! Toni! Tone!, The Blind Boys of Alabama at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies at the World Games in Birmingham, Alabama, and the first all-black Nutcracker in Montgomery with SQAD. Gastion's accolades include her first short film documentary and screendance film, Black Dancers Neglecting Adversity (Black DNA) being awarded twice in 2022.
Akyla began her dance journey in the 4th grade with Moja Dance Dance Studio. In 2021, she graduated from the Conservatory of Dance and Fine Arts. She is currently a student at Claflin University majoring in biochemistry. She has devoted over 11 years to ministry at Rainbow Park Baptist Church with Purposeful Praise Dance Ministry. Her achievements include Showstoppers Dance Competition Best Group Performance in 2021. Akyla was co-director and dance coach for the 2022 Back 2 School Dance Bootcamp.
Michelle Gastion a native of Pittsburgh, PA who now resides in Decatur GA. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in business management, and she received her Master’s degree in Human Resources. Gastion is an active member of Rainbow Park Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board and Dance Ministry for over 11+ years.
Her professional career started in banking over 25+ years ago as a teller. Through that time, she has held multiple positions to obtain vast knowledge of banking/financial operations, and she currently is a Member Services Representative at Georgia’s Own Credit Union.
Gastion considers dance "a way of life" and she is passionate about promoting the arts to unserved children.
Kim Aiken is a native of Brooklyn, NY. Mrs. Aiken received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC. In 1993 she moved to the Metro Atlanta area. She has been employed with the State of Georgia since 1994 where she is a Quality Assurance Reviewer for Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency.
She is an active member of Rainbow Park Baptist Church in Decatur, GA where she is the Tribal Leader of the Reuben Tribe and Youth Usher Leader in Decatur, GA. Mrs. Aiken is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She has been married to Mr. Roger Aiken since 1985 and they have four beautiful and talented daughters. She enjoys crocheting, dancing, and pickleball and is a firm believer in a Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) education and experience.
