Principal Investigator
Jing Xu
Physics Ph. D.
Jing is an assistant professor at the Department of Physics at UCF. Before joining the faculty at UCF, Jing conducted his postdoctoral research at Argonne National Laboratory and University of Chicago. Jing obtained an M.S. in Physics from Sichuan University in 2012 and a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from Northern Illinois University.
Postdoctoral Researcher
Ahsan Ullah
Physics Ph.D.
Ahsan obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he worked on non-collinear spin texture and real-space Berry curvature. He is currently working on hybrid quantum systems of magnetic and superconducting materials. He is equivalently interested in quantum information and quantum computers.
Graduate student
Rachid Ben Khallouq
pursuing a Physics Ph.D.
Rachid is a doctoral student. Rachid has a bachelor's degree in physics and a Masters degree in Materials Physics, both degrees completed in our very own UCF. Upon graduation, he will be three times a Knight!
