Summary of planned / achieved results
From a scientific point of view, the most representative results of the project entitled "Economic uncertainty, environmental and energy policies and their macro-financial implications at the EU level" (code PN-III-P1-1.1-TE-2019-0436) are:
The documentation of a non-linear relationship between energy prices and macroeconomic variables, proving a partial effectiveness of environmental policies in the EU and how shocks in energy prices affect the financial stability.
Evidence of a non-linear impact of uncertainty on financial markets and macroeconomic policy decisions.
