Again, no experience at all is required! We are a no cut sport for girls grades 7-12. We will teach at each girl's level and all swimmers will get to be a part of a routine.
If you are interested but have questions, join us for our Pre-Season Meeting on Thursday, February 6th at 6:30PM at the Oak Point Performing Arts Lab! We also have captains practices on:
Thursday, February 6th
Wednesday, February 12th
Thursday, February 20th
Wednesday, February 26th
These are all from 4:30PM-6PM at Oak Point Pool. These are open to anyone to come and try synchro. The captains will be going over some of the fundamental skills and some conditioning. Coaches will also be present if parents or swimmers have any questions!
To join, register through MyPayments Plus🔗.
There is a $200 registration fee. This breaks down into a $175 registration fee and then an additional $25 fee that comes back to our program. The $175 fee covers facility usage, buses, etc. for the season and the $25 fee covers gelling, headpiece, and practice materials for the season as well as a custom routine swimsuit.
We pride ourselves on having a very diverse and accommodating team. Please don't let finances be the reason you (your swimmer) can't participate in synchro! The activities office has fee waivers available! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the coaching staff and/or the activities office.
Before the season starts, you (your swimmer) will need an up-to-date physical on file with the activities office before getting in the pool on the first day of practice. CMS swimmers will need a physical on file with the middle school.
If you want to try synchro but are too young to join our high school team or it's the off-season, don't worry! There are multiple club teams in the area that offer a variety of programs based on you (your swimmer's) level of commitment! These are:
Our EPHS Synchro Team also offers a few summer clinics that are single-day opportunities for girls to come try the sport! These typically are hosted for a few hours at Oak Point Pool during late-summer to early-fall. If interested, reach out to epsynchro@gmail.com for up-to-date information!
