I have an Epson ET2710 Eco Tank printer. I just installed Synaptic, and installed every package with "epson" in its package name. Afterward the scanner and printer work fine. I've had no problems at all. That was my solution.

I thought--please correct me if I'm wrong--that Epson Advance Black & White mode was a feature of the printer driver, and you can use it e.g. printing from Lightroom; and the difference is that using EPL is the only way to soft-proof / preview the effect of ABW mode, i.e., you can do what when printing with ABW mode from EPL, but not when printing with ABW mode from Lightroom. No?

(1) whether you can use Epson Advanced Black & White mode with any particular model of Epson printer depends on whether the Epson printer driver for that printer model has AB&W mode; and it has nothing to do with whether you're printing from Epson Print Layout or Qimage or Lightroom's Print module or Windows Paint or whatever; and

Yes, you could make some sort of workaround by adjusting the printer driver from the operating system, or with some models adjusting from the printer's front panel; but that seems to cut against the relative simple elegance of EPL.

I love it and its the first thing i suggest to mac users who happen to have supported epsonprinters . gets around the airfryer installation problems with mac. air print took me months to sort out when i transitioned from windows to mac. there was little to no support on the Mac forum. got the cold shoulder came across the view that how dare you criticize mac!!

I have just updated my iMac to macOS Catalina (Version 10.15). There are several Apps that I had will not now work. I have an Epson Printer which has Easy Photo Print with QuickPrintA and QuickPrintB, both will not work. When I looked on the Epson Web Site, they recommended using Apple's built-in driver for my EcoTank ET-3600 Epson Printer. Where do I find this please?
