Dec. 7, 1930 — May 4, 2026
Hello Family and Friends,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our father, George Sueki, passed away peacefully Monday evening, May 4th, at the age of 95, surrounded by the love of his family.
George lived a full and vibrant life. From his birth in Hollister, CA, to his time in Heart Mountain (Japanese Internment Camp), and Salt Lake City, his journey eventually led him back to Mountain View and into service with the Navy, where he traveled the world. After his two tours, he returned to California to graduate from San Jose State and dedicated his career to Public Health in Southern California.
Beyond his professional life, he was a devoted husband to Bea. They bought their house on Roxanne Ave. in 1965!!! He was proud father to Derrick(Lynne), Steven(Irene), David(Lori), and Sharon(Max) and grandfather to his seven grandchildren: Nathan, Ryan, Maxwell, Lynsi, Summer, Kyle, and Jake. Plus, seven grand dogs(Pickles, Baby Hulk, Luna, Pancho, Daisy, Hanna, and Bori) and three grand cats (Booberry, Mama, and Cookie). Whether he was cheering for the Dodgers, tending to the yards, enjoying his daily walks around El Dorado Duck Pond, reading the Press-Telegram sports page, drinking coffee, eating a buttermilk donut from Simone’s, sweeping his pool, or fixing things around the house, George embraced life.
In accordance with his wishes, we held a private ceremony for immediate family only. He will eventually rest at the Anaheim Hills National Cemetery.
Thank you for your love and support during this time.
Bea, Derrick, Steve, David, and Sharon Sueki
