Pi Kappa Phi was founded by Andrew Alexander Kroeg Jr., Lawrence Harry Mixson, and Simon Fogarty Jr. on December 10, 1904 at the College of Charleston. These three men choose to lead, and start their own fraternity. Since then, Pi Kappa Phi has grown into a brotherhood of more than 140,000 men across the country.

Epsilon Theta Chapter- Seton Hall University

The Epsilon Theta Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi originally chartered on November 14, 1980. It then re-chartered on December 5, 2016. The chapter was installed by James "Jim" Krutcher, Beta Alpha (NJIT), and Anthony Cipolla, Epsilon Theta (Seton Hall). The 61 refounding fathers were initiated into Pi Kappa Phi by our Beta Alpha (NJIT) and Alpha Xi (St. John's) chapters.
