This site is just a few meters downstream of the Middle Otter Creek Exclosure site. The reach appears to be heavily influenced by two large alluvial fans and is considered by my research contacts to be very incised with cut banks reaching 8-10 feet tall. I wonder if the incised nature of the stream is more driven by the fans or by the grazing. It's likely a mix of both.
