If you want a dedicated, high-fidelity business headset with superior speech clarity and hearing protection for professional calls or DJ monitoring, choose EPOS Sennheiser Presence Grey; if you need a flexible, sweat-resistant fabric headband that stays put while you sleep, run, or work out, choose Mixiba Sleeping Headphones. These two devices live in completely different worlds of utility, and picking the wrong one means you are fighting against your own gear rather than letting it serve you.
• EPOS Sennheiser Presence Grey: Offers exceptional voice isolation and 10-hour talk time for professionals but lacks the flexibility to be worn as a soft sleep mask or during heavy cardio.
• Mixiba Sleeping Headphones: Provides a lightweight, adjustable fabric fit for sleeping and intense sweating with 14 hours of battery life but uses on-ear drivers not designed for critical audio mixing.
• The Verdict: Choose EPOS for serious communication and DJ tasks where audio fidelity matters; choose Mixiba for comfort during rest, travel, or active movement.
This headset is engineered specifically for the mobile professional who demands absolute control over their voice and their environment. The core of its design lies in its SpeakFocus technology, which utilizes three digital microphones to isolate your voice from background noise. If you are a DJ looking for a reliable way to monitor cues or communicate with a team without static interference, this unit delivers a frequency range optimized for human speech (150 - 6,800 Hz) that cuts through chaos. It also features ActiveGard technology, a patented hearing protection system that defends against sudden acoustic shocks, a feature that is invaluable when you are exposed to unpredictable sound bursts in a busy studio or event space.
The physical design prioritizes precision over casual wearability. It comes with a sliding microphone boom arm that intuitively mutes or unmutes your call, giving you immediate command over your audio presence. The earpiece is an in-ear style that fits securely with an optional ear hook or one of four included ear sleeves, ensuring a tight seal on either the left or right ear. This secure fit is essential for maintaining connection stability when you are moving around, though it does mean this device is not intended to be laid flat on a pillow. With Bluetooth 5 connectivity and a range of up to 25 meters, you can walk away from your phone or PC without dropping the signal, making it ideal for DJs who need to move between equipment while staying connected to their source.

However, this product is not for everyone. If you are looking for a pair of headphones to wear while lying down to sleep, this rigid in-ear design with its plastic enclosure will likely cause discomfort after just a few minutes. It is also not designed for high-intensity sports where sweat accumulation might damage the internal electronics or make the hard plastic uncomfortable against the skin. You should buy this if your primary goal is crystal-clear communication or if you need a secondary audio feed for DJing that protects your hearing. You should skip it if you need a soft, stretchable accessory that moves with your body during a marathon or if you simply want to listen to music while drifting off to sleep.
The Mixiba Sleeping Headphones are built around the concept of total adaptability and physical comfort. Unlike traditional rigid headphones, this device is essentially a Bluetooth-enabled headband made from soft, breathable fabric. The standout feature here is the adjustable hook-and-loop strap, which allows you to customize the tightness to your exact preference. Whether you have a smaller head or prefer a looser fit for sleeping, the design accommodates a wide variety of sizes. This makes it an excellent choice for anyone who needs to wear audio gear while lying on their side, as the fabric conforms to the shape of your head without pressing hard against your ears.
For those seeking sweatproof gaming headphones for dj scenarios that involve long sessions or active environments, this band offers a unique advantage. The material is designed to wick moisture and allow airflow, keeping your face dry during morning runs, gym workouts, or yoga sessions. You can wear this while jogging, cycling, or stretching, and the lightweight construction ensures it won't bounce or slip. The inclusion of Bluetooth 5.4 technology provides a modern wireless connection with a robust battery life of up to 14 hours on a single charge. After only two hours of charging, the headband is ready for a full night of listening or a long day of activity. The controls are integrated directly into the fabric, allowing you to manage volume, track changes, and take calls without ever needing to touch your phone.
That said, this device has clear limitations regarding audio fidelity. Because it uses thin speakers placed on the ear rather than deep in-ear drivers, the sound profile is not suitable for critical listening or professional DJ mixing. The on-ear placement means you cannot expect the same level of bass response or isolation as a dedicated studio monitor or a sealed earbud. If you are looking for the best comfortable neckband headphones for dj to use for precise beatmatching or cueing, this headband will fall short because the audio drivers are not designed for high-resolution stereo output. It is best suited for passive listening, meditation, or background music during low-stakes activities. You should buy this if your priority is comfort, sweat resistance, and long battery life during sleep or exercise. You should skip it if you need high-fidelity audio for professional production or if you require the noise isolation of a closed-back design.

In my opinion, if I were buying these today for my personal workflow, I would reach for the EPOS Sennheiser Presence Grey. While the Mixiba is a clever piece of hardware for sleeping and light exercise, it simply cannot compete with the engineering quality required for serious audio work. As a DJ, the ability to monitor audio with precision and maintain a stable, clear connection to my mobile devices is non-negotiable. The EPOS headset offers the specialized features like ActiveGard protection and SpeakFocus technology that ensure I can hear every detail without risking my hearing or losing clarity in a noisy room. The Mixiba is a fun gadget for downtime, but the EPOS is a tool for performance. If you need gear that performs under pressure, the EPOS is the only logical choice.
