I am passionate about bettering myself in any way, shape, or form. My passion for music helps me become a more disciplined and goal-focused person. My goal for my time at High Point University is to practice and perform a wide variety of vocal solos from different genres and languages. Genres I intend to sing classical songs in foreign languages, musical theater, as well as classical pop songs. Additionally, I would like to perform in several vocal ensembles, including the HPU Chamber Singers and HPU's all lower voice a cappella group, the Toccatatones. I would also like to maintain good grades throughout my time and complete my double major in Music and English. Maintaining these goals will help me successfully pursue a career in law by attending law school after graduating from High Point University. I believe that music will help with my critical thinking skills and my ability to stand in front of a crowd of people and present an argument, as I would like to be involved in some type of prosecution when I study law.
