- As a student worker at Piedmont College, I was mandated to do various technical tasks on the computer. During my employment, I had to reformat computers, install drivers, install and update various applications, and pull internet and telephone wire to destinations. Additionally, I gained experience in customer service by offering technical troubleshooting solutions to students of the college.
Piedmont College (Learning Center) January 2013 - May 2014
- As a tutor at Piedmont College, I attained extensive knowledge of customer service and gained pedagogical experience, as I assisted students who struggled in English and writing. Frequently, I would render advice and suggestions to students, who were writing reviews, responses, summaries, term papers, and even graduate-level papers. In addition to these recommendations, once a year, I held a seminar over writing to a group of students.
OfficeMax (Athens, GA) July 2015 - January 2017
- As a sales associate at OfficeMax, I gained further expertise in customer service and societal skills. I was flexible in my position and acted as a sales representative in many departments, including furniture, technology, and supplies. I also acted as a cashier several times and handled logistical tasks extensively.
