This project explores real-world examples of cybersecurity threats by researching current events involving issues such as phishing scams and ransomware attacks. The objective was to identify two different cybersecurity incidents, analyze their impact, and evaluate the credibility of the sources reporting on them. Each article was summarized to highlight the type of cyberattack, who was affected, and potential preventative measures. This project helps build awareness of modern digital threats and reinforces the importance of cybersecurity best practices in both personal and professional environments.
