The music of PABLO.ANMAUR takes infectious grooves and melodic bass-lines, and mixes them with rhythmic guitars, electronic textures and even orchestral arrangements. All of it topped with sober vocals that aim to create a universal sound that any music lover can enjoy. A jack of all trades, he is a composer, arranger, producer and performer. These tools allow him to explore the vast ocean of music in search of creating new and exciting sounds.
Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, he grew up in Bucaramanga, in the north-eastern part of the country, where he started his music education between private instructors and music classes at Universidad Industrial de Santander - UIS. After finishing high school he traveled back to Bogotá to start his professional studies at EMMAT from where, in 2018, he trasfered his credits to finish his studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. In May 2021 he graduated with honours having majored in Contemporary Writing and Prodcution with a minor in Conducting. Since then, PABLO.ANMUAR has continued his exploration of the musical and artistic frontiers, having released multiple singles that take inspiration from the sounds of Disco, Jazz, RnB, Hip-Hop, Rock and Pop in both English and Spanish with Boston based artists Angel Javier, Lo Key Blaque and Aruna, as well as NYC based singer-songwriter Felice.
HOUSE SHOW, his most recent EP, mixes of some of the music styles that have influenced him the most during his journey as composer and producer: Acoustic ballads, Latinoamerican Folklore, House music, and Rock bangers. In essence, HOUSE SHOW is a conceptual record that uses the aesthetic of the DIY scene and the basement show to bring together all of its songs. Each track represents an act at this house show and, at the same time, each song follows its own narrative: "LoveSong" is the story of a soldier that has been wounded while fighting a war far from home, the trauma is making him delirious so he dreams with being back home with his partner. "HOUSE SHOW" is a night-time train ride through the streets of Boston to get to this DIY show. The headliner, "2:44 AM", talks about love between two people that don't speak the same language. Lastly, "Amanecer" takes us after the show to the early morning walk back to our house. A breif moment of tranquility in which we leave the past behind and we find ourselves with the present of the being here and now.
