Stefan Buijsman is an assistant professor in the philosophy of AI at TU Delft. His background is in the epistemology of mathematics, where he worked on the connection between philosophy and cognitive science of mathematics. He now researches the intersection between the epistemology of AI and computer science, both in theoretical work and in applied projects that study the implementation of AI at academic hospitals, public sector organizations, the military and police. 

Dr. Inês Hipólito is a Lecturer at Macquarie University working on philosophy of Mind and AI. She co-founded and presides over the International Society for the Philosophy of the Sciences of the Mind and actively contributes to over 10 global academic associations. She also serves as the Media Committee Convenor for the Australasian Association of Philosophy. A prolific author of 50+ peer-reviewed articles, and an editor of 15+ books and journal issues. Dr. Hipolito is a sought-after speaker, delivering podcasts and talks at venues like the Sydney Opera House, bridging academia and public engagement.

Markus Pantsar is a philosopher of mathematics and artificial intelligence, currently working as a guest professor at the RWTH Aachen University, Germany. He received his PhD at the University of Helsinki in 2009 with a thesis on mathematical truth. Since then, his research focus moved to the cognitive and cultural foundations of mathematics, on which he has published extensively. This work culminated in the book “Numerical Cognition and the Epistemology of Arithmetic” (Cambridge University Press 2024). In recent years, he has worked on the philosophy of artificial intelligence, especially the possibility of developing human-like mathematical AI.

Annie Sandrussi is a philosopher whose research applies critical phenomenological and gender-based analyses to questions of embodiment, difference and institutions. She is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Synthetic Biology in the Philosophy Department of Macquarie University, Eora/Sydney. Annie examines how practices held in common are underpinned by ontological commitments, especially at the juncture of ecofeminism, existential-phenomenology and philosophical of biology and technoscience.

Marilyn Stendera is a Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Wollongong. Her research focuses primarily on the phenomenological tradition, the philosophy of cognition, and the history of philosophy. She is particularly interested in time, and is the co-author (with Emily Hughes) of the recently-published book Heidegger’s Alternative History of Time (Routledge).
