The meeting will be held at the Wylie Inn and Conference Center in Beverly, MA. With generous support from the Moore Foundation, the conference will cover accommodations, all meals and fees for the duration of the meeting. Participants will be responsible for the cost of their own travel to and from the Asilomar as well as any additional incidentals incurred.
Lodging and Food:
Participants will be hosted at the Wylie Hotel and Conference center. For more information about the site, you could visit the website. Organic, locally sourced meals will be served in the on-site dining hall. Please be in touch with the conference organizers with any dietary restrictions.
Note: Around 20 Participants may be accommodated in rooms with double occupancy (two double beds provided). Please indicate whether you want to share a room and preferred roommates.
Travel:
The Wylie Inn is approximately 25 miles north of Boston. The conference center address is 295 Hale St, Beverly, MA 01915.
We ask that you please plan your travel to arrive by ~5PM on June 3rd and to depart after 1PM on June 7th.
For guests coming from outside of the Boston area, it is easiest to fly directly into the Boston Logan airport and then take the public transport (~40 mins).
If you arrive by Amtrack, you could also take the public transport (~ 1 hour).
Please note that it is expected that all travel costs are paid by the participant's PI. If the travel expense poses an issue to your participation in the meeting, please be in touch with the conference organizers; very limited travel reimbursement allowances may be available.
Recreation:
There are a wide range of activities to enjoy in and around the hotel during the breaks in our scientific program, with superb hiking, wildlife, restaurants, and the beach. We hope that you'll take the opportunity to enjoy them with your fellow members of the EPiQS Young Investigator Network.
