The Greek presented here follows the readings of the modern critical editions — the text behind virtually every contemporary translation. Where the Traditional text (the stream behind the King James Version) adds or differs meaningfully, a note gives the added Greek and its meaning, so both witnesses are always in view. Famous passages absent from the earliest manuscripts — the longer ending of Mark, the woman caught in adultery — are presented complete, in ⟦brackets⟧, with a note, just as the printed editions handle them.

Greek text and glosses are drawn from the Translators Amalgamated Greek New Testament (TAGNT), prepared by Tyndale House, Cambridge and STEPBible.org, and used with gratitude under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0.
