The history of epicness tv

Here's how it all happened.

2020-22

[blox swim], Epicness Entertainment, [epicness tv] (pre-rebrand)

Before [epicness tv], there was what acted as a prototype version of it, called [blox swim]. It didn't last very long so there is a lack of statistics on it. Around the end of [blox swim], GeoRB (then known as GeoRBOfficial) joined the team to help Chase out on his creations.

Epicness Entertainment acts as a more advanced version of [blox swim]. Not much is known about it, except for the name change that lasted about 3 days, The New Epicness Entertainment.

[epicness tv] (or [etv] for short) is one of the key eras in the history of etv. It is more of a finalized variation of both [blox swim] and Epicness Entertainment, as it features more shows, with most of them being Roblox related and featuring Chase's Roblox character in all of them. It was about December 2020 when Jamisonplayz (GeoRB's little brother) joined the team. He joined in order to have Jamison's Adventures become a show exclusively owned by epicness tv. Later that month, GeoRB created Roblox: the Animated Series (then with "The" capitalized by mistake.) If not known, it was formerly considered to be an [etv] original series, only for GeoRB to later state that it was never intended to be an original series, and that it was only are there for Chase to "air" it and spread the word for the series. This also applies to Jamison's Adventures. Today, it is fully an epicness tv exclusive as GeoRB instead now wants to rather spread the word for etv instead of the network spreading the word for R:TAS. A few months later, GeoRB introduced [etv] to other series creators. Because of this, it lead to Orbit's Animation Show ending up on [etv]. Shortly after OAS' premiere, [etv] launched a channel on Strimm, a site where you use YouTube videos as a source of content to broadcast. It was shut down around a year after. On October 17th, 2021, Chase temporarily rebranded to justblackwithaface to fit in with GeoRB (justredwithaface at the time) and justpurplewithaface (now commonly known as Orbit.) This is where Justblack's Storytelling Series came from. From some minor indecisiveness, he changed to justcyanwithaface and occasionally swapped back and forth. After GeoRB got bored of basically ripping off justpurplewithaface, he reverted back and so did Chase.

2022-

epicness tv (post-rebrand)

In June of 2022, epicness tv made its most recent rebrand to represent a brand new era of pure originality, a pretty major event in etv's history. etv would once again gain a live TV channel in a more proper form. On live airings the logo would formerly default to a transparent shade of blue before being changed to white with a blue and cyan bar next to it. On special occasions it displays a text indicating that the episode or show airing may be new on the side of the bar. This was recreating the original screen bug from 2020 which instead used a pink and orange bar as a Filmora text template. This rebrand also started a popular trend in networks, called eras. The current one being used is called Shades of Blue. characters appear in white outlines with, you guessed it, shades of blue as colors. Gradient texts can also be seen besides the characters.
