ISSUE:

so I played RL for a long time and for some reason after deleting my operating system and reinstalling it wont open and let me play

I have tried a lot of stuff to fix this using the knowledge I have but this is beyond me I might overlooked something but idk truly all I do know is that its starting okay I see it go up on the task manger below the epic launcher and pop it closes and say NOTHING I tried to:

1) verify game file

Thankfully I have Rocket League on Steam as well so I can still play the game, but I want to support Epic as little as I possibly can. I used to be hesitant to installing game launchers other than Steam in the past, but Epic Games ended up growing on me due to the free games they offered. I've learned a lot about Epic since they've acquired Rocket League and from subs like r/fuckepic. I no longer want to support this company in any capacity and so I'm uninstalling their launcher and strictly playing Rocket League through Steam if I do decide to play.

In your antivirus, whitelist/ make an exception for the bakkesmod.exe AND the Rocket League installation folder called `rocketleague` (Find your Rocket League installation folder by right clicking Rocket League in your steam library-> Manage -> Browse local files.)

If your issue still persists, it is usually a firewall/antivirus blocking the download. Make sure the injector and the Rocket League installation folder called `rocketleague` are whitelisted in your antivirus. It could also be that a firewall on the router or elsewhere on the network is blocking the download. This is often the case on university networks and networks which are managed by other parties. For this, if possible, try tethering the download through another connection (if you can afford tethering 2.7mb, don't do this if you don't have any kind of data plan!). Another possible solution would be to use a VPN when updating. If none of these options are available to you, you need to manually install the updates every time Rocket League updates. Instructions on manual installation.

First completely uninstall Rocket League through steam. Make sure that the Rocket League installation folder called `rocketleague` is gone. Find your Rocket League installation folder by right clicking Rocket League in your steam library-> Manage -> Browse local files. On Epic, this defaults to C:\Program Files\Epic Games\rocketleague, but this may be different based on your choices when you downloaded the game. If it's still there, delete it yourself and when it's gone, restart your PC. Then first make sure that BakkesMod is closed and install Rocket League again. Run it once and close it again. Run BakkesMod as admin and Rocket League should not crash anymore.

Make 100% sure you MANUALLY delete the leftover `rocketleague` folder after uninstalling the game, that's the most important part of fixing this specific `Initializing Decal-/ QueueMod` crash issue.

But where does Rocket League come into play here? This is nothing more than a guess from my side but with the recent addition of the Rocketpass into the "Fortnite Crew" subscription and Epic's plans to "transfer" over our rocket league inventories to Fortnite for the new racing mode that is coming soon it feels like Epic is trying more and more to bring rocket league into the "Fortnite Metaverse" ecosystem. It wouldn't shock me if Unreal Engine 5 for Rocket League may also be the update that combines Fortnite/Rocket League into one "Epic's Metaverse game launcher".

The first thing to check is that both you and the host have loaded the same map in the Custom Map Loader. If that isn't the issue, then it is likely that you are missing a texture file. All necessary texture files should have been installed automatically when the Custom Map Loader was installed, but if this has failed, then you can manually download the textures HERE. Once you've downloaded the folder, unzip it (right click, extract all), and copy all the files into rocketleague\TAGame\CookedPCConsole.

Firstly, check that you are trying to play on Underpass rather than Tokyo Underpass. If you've selected Underpass and it is still loading normally, then this means that your version of Rocket League has been installed in a non-standard way. You may find that if you launch Rocket League via the .exe located in \rocketleague\Binaries\Win64, and select Underpass in freeplay, then the custom map will load.

The correct folder will usually be found in Program Files, not Documents. The default for most people is C:\Program Files\Epic Games\rocketleague for those using Epic, or C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\rocketleague for those using Steam. If it isn't in Program Files then try Program Files (x86). 006ab0faaa
