The São Paulo Meeting on Geometry 2025 will gather leading researchers from different academic institutions to share insights from distinct branches of geometry. Through a series of expository talks, participants will have the chance to explore current developments in the field in an accessible way. With several speakers coming from abroad, the meeting emphasizes its international spirit and collaborative atmosphere. Everyone is very welcome!
This is the fourth edition of the geometry meeting organized by the mathematical community in São Paulo, which follows previous editions held in 2006, 2009, and 2011. On this occasion, the meeting will take place at IME-USP, from November 10th to 14th, 2025.

This is the fourth edition of the geometry meeting organized by the mathematical community in São Paulo, which follows previous editions held in 2006, 2009, and 2011. On this occasion, the meeting will take place at IME-USP, from November 10th to 14th, 2025.
Prof. Claudio Gorodski
The conference is organized in honor of Claudio Gorodski on the occasion of his 60th birthday. Claudio is a Brazilian mathematician who has devoted much of his academic career to the study and development of Riemannian geometry, with particular emphasis on problems arising in the broad context of Lie groups. He obtained his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1992. Since then, he has held numerous visiting and research positions at renowned institutions in Europe and the United States, building lasting collaborations and friendships with colleagues around the world. Claudio has been a professor at IME-USP since 1986, where he has built an outstanding career. Through his mentoring, teaching, and research, he has played a central role in the consolidation and growth of the geometry group at the institution.

The registration for the meeting is open until November 4. Participants, particularly young researchers, are encouraged to present their work as a poster.
