Climate Economist and Economic Historian
London School of Economics
I am a climate economist and economic historian with a PhD in economic history from the London School of Economics. At LSE I was supervised by Prof. Joan Rosés and Prof. Mohamed Saleh. I also spent a semester at the Environmental Markets Lab (emLab) at the University of California, Santa Barbara, hosted by Prof. Olivier Deschene. My research is at the intersection of the economics of climate change, economic history, and development economics. I use climate econometrics to assess climate impacts and adaptations as well as assessing the determinants of variation in climate resilience.
