I conduct archival accounting/finance research. My research examines (1) determinants of firms’ financial reporting and disclosure choices, (2) Accounting regulations, (3) real effects of rank-and-file employee pay, (4) debt contracting, and (5) ESG issues, with a focus on the "S" (i.e., Social) component.
