Dr. Soham Chattopadhyay received his Ph.D. from the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Kharagpur, and did his B. Tech and M. Tech in Biotechnology. Professor Chattopadhyay is interested in researching enzyme immobilization, reactor operation, bioprocessing, bioremediation, etc. He has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience. He is presently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Bioengineering and Biotechnology, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. His current research focuses primarily on developing Biosensors and designing some novel systems for lipid degradation. He has several peer-reviewed research publications and book chapters of international repute to his credit.
