My name is En Yang and I teach adults Chinese at Yunfei, where also named Conquer Language.

My teaching is characterized by the use of flash cards, objects, or drawings, even acting, that create a real-life environment. I also use board games occasionally to help students practice Chinese in a natural context.

To me, expressing cultural differences and personal experiences greatly influence a student’s learning motivation, so I value all my students’ culture and personal interests.

Instead of asking students to repeat sentences in their textbooks, I put greater emphasis on students’ ability to express their experiences and thoughts grammatically.
