Sri Priyabrata DasGupta

Environmental research field work:

From January 2005 to July 2005: Field Assistant in the project entitledClinico-Epidemiological Study of Arsenic Exposed Population in West Bengal” in Regional Occupational Health Centre (Eastern), Indian Council of Medical Research, Kolkata-700091.This project was World Health Organization (WHO) and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Govt. of India collaborative project for Katlamari (GP-1.), Dist. Murshidabad, West Bengal. I was assisting the scientist for collecting water samples, biological samples and I also worked in a group in Environmental Sampling (for Personal and Area ) using S K C Sampler and Envirotech Sampler (for Ambient Air Sampling).

Administrative service:

From September 2004 to October 2004: Project Executive in the project entitled “Rashtriya Sam Vikash Yojana 2004 at Jalpaiguri District, West Bengal, India.” under M/S Green Apple Nursery, Budge Budge, Kolkata-700137, a consultancy agency in collaboration with West Bengal State Food Processing & Horticulture Development Corporation Limited, Kolkata-700091. I was engaged in planning and monitoring the performances of four Public Relation Officers in this project. I used to visit the corresponding Block Land Reforms Officers and Savapaties for identification of the required Government Vest Lands and corresponding beneficiaries, which would help to prepare the beneficiaries list under Below Poverty Line and would arrange the meeting with them.

Community service:

From February2nd – 6th ‘1998: Interviewer in Patients Satisfaction Survey with The Leprosy Mission India, Kolkata-700006. I interviewed leprosy patients in the hospital and organized door-to-door survey along with Leprosy Awareness Programme.
