Environment Day Celebration at Nazareth Primary School.
Environment Day Celebration at Nazareth Primary School.
The celebration commenced with a meaningful prayer service, seeking the blessings of the Creator for a greener, cleaner, and healthier planet.
The program continued with a thought-provoking skit titled “The Cry of the Earth”, which effectively highlighted the harmful effects of pollution and stressed the urgent need to protect and preserve our environment.
This was followed by a vibrant dance performance to the song “Humko Hai Jagna”, conveying a powerful message of awakening and fostering love and care for nature.
Adding melody to the celebration, the students presented a soulful song titled “Keepers of the Earth”, reminding everyone of their vital role as guardians of the environment.
The highlight of the program was an inspiring address by our Headmistress, Sr. Stella Mary, who motivated the students to adopt eco-friendly habits and grow into responsible stewards of nature in their everyday lives.
Post the stage program, a rally was organized for students of Std 3 and 4. With placards in hand and slogans on their lips, these young environmentalists marched around the school premises, spreading awareness about the importance of environmental conservation.
At the same time, the students of Std 1 and 2 engaged in a creative Leaf Art Activity, using a variety of leaves to craft beautiful images of animals, birds, and insects — an artistic tribute to the wonders of nature.
The day proved to be a perfect blend of learning, creativity, and action, leaving a lasting impression on the young hearts and minds about the importance of nurturing and protecting Mother Earth for a brighter, healthier, and greener future.
