Environmental Action Group

Starting at 9 am on Saturday June 3, the Nittany Valley Water Coalition will occupy the Toll Brothers development site on Whitehall road across the street from the Blue Course intersection. We will stay here as long as it takes to convince Penn State to NOT sell this land on our watershed, but instead put the land into a conservation easement. Join us anytime on Saturday and beyond. Parking available along Blue Course Dr. Press arrives between 10-11 am. We will be making signs to post along Whitehall. What do we want from Penn State? What we want is for PSU to place the land they intend to sell to Toll Brothers into a long-term easement, advanced low-impact experimental farm for education and research, a passive recreation or nature education place, or some combination of these.

This is the best use of this land and makes it compatible with the conservation easement by ClearWater Conservancy to protect Slab Cabin Run and the Harter-Thomas wells.

There is a lot of community support for this and would improve Penn State's reputation with the region
