Welcome to the EnviroHelp app! EnviroHelp is used to streamline the reporting process of forms of pollution or environmental risk factors to an environmental organization near you.
EnviroHelp includes many other features along with the Report screen to help make the environmental risk factor reporting process as efficient and effective as possible. Some of these features include information about how to correctly fill out a report, a Google Maps feature to display the exact location of the risk factor you are reporting, and a communication screen to quickly contact the environmental organization you are reporting your risk factors to.
Within EnviroHelp, you can report specific environmental risk factors that fall under one of these 3 categories: Outdoor Air Pollution, Dumping in Water Sources, and Other Complaints.
Outdoor Air Pollution
Outdoor Air Pollution
Some examples of outdoor air pollution that should be reported using EnviroHelp include (but are not limited to) smoke, dust, unusual/strong odors, or an idling vehicle (vehicle left running). Any of these scenarios and others that you feel fit under the Outdoor Air Pollution category on our Report screen should be reported.
Dumping in WateR Sources
Dumping in WateR Sources
If the dumping of trash, dark/ill-colored water, harmful chemicals, or other substances that are unusual in the area (for example, substances other than water) are occurring in a stream, gully, or bayou, it should be reported using EnviroHelp, along with any other scenarios you feel identify under this category.
Other Complaints
Other Complaints
Some examples of other complaints that should be reported within EnviroHelp include (but are not limited to) fish kill, the improper storage of oil drums, runoff flowing into a storm drain, runoff posing a threat to a storm drain, and the improper storage of waste and debris, impacting other areas.
