Course Outline

This course is a short online course on Patent Searching. The course is designed for the beginners like graduate and post-graduate students. It intends to address one of the many functions of an IPR expert i.e. patent searching. The course and knowledge it offers will be a good stepping stone for a career in the field of IPR.

A patent search іѕ crucial fоr patentability, validity, іnfrіngеmеnt аnаlуѕіѕ, etc. Thuѕ, a skilled раtеnt ѕеаrсh рrоfеѕѕіоnаl muѕt know vаrіоuѕ ѕеаrсh рrосеdurеѕ, database lіmіtаtіоnѕ, and technical tооlѕ аnd ѕоftwаrе tо rеvеаl a gооd ѕеаrсh rеѕult.

There are two Levels of this course. 1st Level gives general introduction about what IPR is. After this 1st module, there will be an MCQ Test. Students can only enter in Level 2 if they clear Level-1 test by more than 50% score.

Second Level of course focuses on Patent Serching and at the completion of learning module, students need to appear for a Level-2 test. After passing this test, students will receive an e-copy of certificate by email.
