Mission
To be the leading buko-based food brand that promotes health, refreshment, and sustainability, bringing the natural goodness of coconuts to every Filipino household and beyond.
Core Values
Bukoron transforms the familiar Filipino turon into a fresh and unique creation by using creamy buko filling. We value continuous creativity to provide customers with a modern twist on a beloved classic.
Business History / Background
Bukoron was created as part of our Innovation Management subject, where we were tasked to conceptualize and implement an innovative food product. Drawing inspiration from coconut-based Filipino treats, our team developed Bukoron an affordable, creamy, and simple delicacy wrapped in traditional raffer.
It was introduced and sold during our school booth activity, where it received positive feedback from students and teachers who enjoyed its natural coconut taste and budget-friendly price.
Products and Services
Bukoron offers a creative twist on the traditional turon by turning it into a creamy buko snack. Instead of the usual banana filling, Bukoron is filled with a rich and smooth coconut mixture made from shredded young coconut (buko), buko juice, cornstarch, condensed milk, powdered milk, and a touch of vanilla extract. Each piece is carefully wrapped with raffer to ensure freshness and convenience.
This unique snack provides customers with a familiar yet innovative taste, combining the comforting flavors of classic Filipino delicacies with a creamy, indulgent texture. Bukoron is perfect for students, teachers, staff, and anyone in the community looking for an affordable, tasty, and satisfying snack.
Business Model
Bukoron operates by producing and selling a unique snack that transforms the traditional turon into a creamy and innovative treat. Instead of the usual banana filling, Bukoron is filled with a rich and creamy buko mixture made from cornstarch, shredded young coconut (buko), buko juice, vanilla extract, condensed milk, powdered milk, and wrapped carefully with raffer. We prepare our products in small batches to ensure freshness and quality. Our operations include cooking, packaging, and selling directly to customers within our school campus and nearby areas.
Our revenue is generated through the sale of Bukoron at an affordable price of 15 pesos per piece. We earn profit by keeping production costs low while maintaining high quality. We also plan to explore bundle deals or small promotions to encourage repeat purchases and attract more customers.
Our target market includes:
College Students – looking for affordable and tasty snacks between classes.
Teachers and Staff – who enjoy convenient treats during breaks

In the long term (3–4 years), we plan to expand distribution from school canteens to other areas within the campus and nearby local communities, introduce more innovative Bukoron variants while maintaining the creamy coconut concept, establish a physical stall or kiosk to reach a wider customer base, and build partnerships with local suppliers for sustainable sourcing of ingredients.
Our roadmap starts with strengthening our brand within the school campus and immediate community, then gradually expanding to nearby schools and local neighborhoods. We aim to innovate by creating more unique Filipino snack products while keeping them affordable, tasty, and nutritious.
With every bite of Bukoron, we want to bring a modern twist to Filipino tradition making snack time enjoyable, memorable, and proudly local. Our goal is to turn Bukoron into the go-to snack for students, teachers, and the community alike, combining creativity, flavor, and culture in every piece.
