Maiznik and Loki's Relationship

Maiznik appointed Loki as 2nd-in-Command when Luiko died. The relationship between them isn't the greatest and the two will often quarrel over petty things, but Loki has proven himself to be a good fit for the position. If you can look past his disobedient, sly tendencies you'll see, just like Mai did, that he is adaptable, hardworking, and determined. There isn't much that can be done about the negative parts of his personality, but Mai has learned to work with him even if he annoys her to no end. Loki sees Mai as a mother figure who, while being overwhelmingly annoying at times, cares for him as if he were one of her own kits and would put his life before her own when need be. She's really just a fussy mama who cares for him even if he doesn't want her to. Of course, she cares for everyone in her pack, but, aside from her own kit, she seems to care for his well being the most. He is just a Young Adult who has a high position of power after all, so she does need to keep a close eye on him sometimes.
