Welcome!

I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics of Politecnico di Milano, where I am part of the research group in Geometry and Algebra. My research interests are in Algebraic Geometry, in particular in the Classification of Embedded Projective Curves and the Hilbert Schemes that parametrize them.

I obtained my PhD in 1996 from U.C. Berkeley, under the supervision of Robin Hartshorne. Afterwards, I was a Visiting Scholar at Nice University and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Trento.
