I'm professor of Econometrics at the department of Economics&Management 'Marco Fanno', University of Padova. I mostly work on the econometrics of impact evaluation of public policies within the broader - and much older - issue of causal inference. I live few km's off Padova, on the south border of the Euganean hills, a small range of ancient volcanos. Here is the Euganean sunset as seen from my terrace (left) and the west flank of the range as seen from the NW (right).
